Poker faced Gaga

23 May

With her unique self expression in fashion and music, the current controversial lady in the main stream pop culture, Lady Gaga is famous with her dance genre music such as Just Dance, Poker Face, Bad Romance, Alejandro and Born This Way. Most of her number 1 songs in billboard chart received a number of negative responses from the public. One of the reaction towards the public response is you might lost your interest in listening to “Radio Gaga”. However, I would say “you might not like the way she potraits herself, but she did have some good music worth to listen.” These few stripped down acoustic songs, I think they are unreleased in her mainstream dance albums. Hope you enjoy it.

The kuduro music style also associates with other music styles such as Batida, Zouk, Soca, Semba, Tribal house and techno. Nowadays, the Kuduro also fusioned with the influence of hip hop, house and raggamuffin.

Let’s enjoy Don Omar – Danza Kuduro (feat Lucenzo) and another version, Lucenzo – Vem Dancar Kuduro (feat Big Ali). This is also one of the original soundtrack from Fast and Furious 5.

Moving only the hips
Turn half around
Dance to Kuduro
Don’t lose your breath now

Goodbye Lullaby

25 Apr

“My record company were being a typical record company and trying to give me their version of how it should be – trying to get me to go in a different direction. I had to fight with them over and over. I was like, ‘No, this is a really special record to me and this is what I’m doing’.”   –Avril Lavigne–

After her single “What the hell”,

Avril Lavigne finally released her fourth album “Goodbye Lullaby” this month.

This album serves to return Avril’s older style, a more strip-down acoustic sensation.

This simple lyric simply gives you the mood and motivation.
Trust in yourself, everything is possible.

Rise up Don’t you fall down again
Rise up It’s time we break the chains

I tried to fly
No lie
So high
Direction: sky!
I tried to fly
No lie
So high
Up to the sky!

My dream is to fly Over the rainbow, so high!
